Areas: making of paintings portraits street art

On Friday 23rd September 2011, over 20,000 people descend on the city of Belfast for Culture Night Belfast, its annual creative showcase event.

I along with my art collective - The VENT Collective transformed Rosemary Street into an interactive street performance of the hit 80’s TV game show Catchphrase.

Throughout the day people had the opportunity to take part in the performance by trying to guess the catchphrases and get their picture taken with our own ‘Roy Walker’.

Thanks to everyone that took part in the event and to the Culture Night Team for making it happen.

Below I’ve included photos from the making of the ‘Roy Walker’ cutout along with some photos from the night itself.
